Poetry is his key to my heart
I like to read his thoughts
To feel his soul in words
To brace his feelings
To feel the flow of his heart
He tells me all in ways I can not explain
Some make me cry some make me smile
Some even make me giggle
I smile deep inside because his thoughts make me crave for his touch
The sound of his voice
The feel of his skin
The taste of his lips makes me fall to my knees and beg for more
I am as his spaniel
Give me commands and I will obey for the rewards of his gentle touch
He keeps me dancing in circles
I can not stop
The joy is over powering
Like a song in my heart that won’t go away
I don’t want it to leave
I want to make it stay and repeat it over
And over
And over
His image in my head
Makes me shiver
With his eyes on me I feel lifted high
He’s like a toxic drug
I feel him running threw my veins like an instant high
My heart thumping with over excitement
The thought of him gets me going
I feel him all around me
When I sleep
When I wake
When I eat
When I think
That all is gone he’s by my side telling me to hang on
When he tells me “I Love You”
A joy sweeps over me
Like a lost cause, I am hanging on to his every word
Every time I say it back my heart leaps a thousand feet
Into a still air where I am never alone
But with him always by my side
I know the truth because it comes from his lips
The same lips that stop me dead in my tracks
That makes me crave for more
More
And even more
I can’t let go of the thoughts rushing threw my head
So many thoughts
Thoughts of joy
Thoughts of dancing
Thoughts of romancing
Thoughts of love
Hope
A future with him by my side
I don’t want to scare him away
To tell him he’s the one
Can’t take the chance of losing my heaven on earth
God gave me happiness
And I won’t let it go to waste
I want his image here in my head forever
I pray every night that I can keep God’s gift
I pray that he blesses this love that we share and may he make it grow everyday
I pray that I won’t hurt him like I did to the rest
I pray that He keeps him safe because I don’t want to lose him
I thank Him for this amazing man that’s a part of my life
I thank Him for letting us find each other
And making a future together
I want to spin in circles forever holding his hand
I want to venture deep into his soul to find his secrets and passions
I want to know all there is to know about him
His dreams
His loves
His favorites
What makes him smile and what makes him frown?
What are his passions from the deeps of his soul?
He makes me cry tears of joy
Not just from my eyes
But from my insides as well
He digs in my soul with his words and fights all the hate to find joy
The pure joy that hides deep inside
That dug itself a hole to never be found again
Afraid to let the pain absorb it away
He wakes me up inside
He shows the world my soul
The joy of love is power
A power from deep inside
A power that no one can tear apart
But the ones who share the power together
In a secret bond between two souls
Love will never fail but left two souls high in the air for all to see
